First Responder for February – Shawn Davis

Our first responder for the month of February is Deputy Chief Shawn Davis with the White Hall Police Department.

Shawn was nominated for his work as a traffic reconstructionist for fatal accidents. He works countless hours on reconstructing accidents to make sure they are accurate when the reports are submitted. Not only does he work full time, he also attends Fairmont State University as a full-time student and handles the White Hall Police Department’s K-9.

Awarding these first responders is also about giving back to the community, so as a part of Shawn’s award, the Manchin Injury Law Group is giving $250 to the charity of his choice. Since Shawn takes care of White Hall’s K9, choosing the Marion County Humane Society as his charity was almost a given.

Even though Shawn works in Marion County, the award can recognize any first responder in all of West Virginia. If you would like to nominate someone to be a First Responder of the Month, please visit www.manchininjurylaw.com/nomination.
