Darwin

Darwin was adopted by Molly in March 2022 from Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia, after being rescued from a shelter in Logan County. Though originally believed to be a Labrador mix, DNA testing revealed Darwin to be a unique blend of 21 different breeds—most notably 11% beagle and only 6% lab. A true West Virginia black dog.

Darwin loves a good belly rub, endless treats, and being near his people. He officially joined the Manchin Law family in July 2025 when Molly came on board, and he quickly took on the role of Director of Emotional Well-Being. With his friendly disposition and love for human connection, Darwin can often be found roaming the halls, offering a comforting presence to staff and visitors alike.
