Margaret (Molly) E. Lewis

Margaret (Molly) E. Lewis is an accomplished attorney with over 15 years of experience. Ms. Lewis’s legal career spans various areas of litigation, including representing businesses, insurance companies, and individuals in high-stakes disputes. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice, ensuring her clients receive tailored legal strategies designed to protect their interests.

Before joining Manchin Law, Ms. Lewis focused her practice on insurance defense, including the defense of personal injury and medical malpractice actions. Her extensive experience working closely with insurance companies gives her unique insight into the challenges injured individuals face, enabling her to anticipate defense strategies and better protect her clients’ interests.

Ms. Lewis earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2006, where she graduated Order of the Coif, a prestigious honor recognizing exceptional academic achievement. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development and Family Studies from West Virginia University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Admitted to practice law in West Virginia since 2006, Molly is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Ms. Lewis is highly engaged in the legal community and has served as Treasurer of the Monongalia County Bar Association since 2015 and serves on the Lawyer Disciplinary Board.
